Our solution is tailored to meet our client's business needs by utilizing ComSci's intellectual capital, knowledge of the carriers, electronic media expertise and/or our invoice processing application delivered via an ASP solution.
InvoiceProcessing Software
The core to our solution is our InvoiceProcessing Software (IPS) to support the key functions associated with the receipt, verification, processing and payment of technology-related invoices. With our IPS product, our clients not only receive the benefit of this dynamic and user-friendly application, the cost of ownership is reduced significantly with our hosted ASP solution. There is no longer a need for a large, upfront investment in license fees, hardware and network costs to acquire this enterprise software product. All that is required is a workstation with a browser and access to the Internet. ComSci will manage all the hardware/software necessary to run this application while our clients can focus on using the application and enjoying the benefits of quality information and metrics to assist in managing their technology environment and associated costs.
Our client's maintain control over the expense management process utilizing ComSci's core competencies in understanding carrier invoicing, eCommerce processing capabilities, superior tariff and contract rate knowledge and our dynamic reporting capabilities to enhance their control and understanding.
Data Translations Services
Many of our client's do not want to deal with the mundane and staff intensive functions around the receipt, cataloging and data entry associated with the huge volume of monthly telecommunications invoices. ComSci, either as part of our IPS solution or as a standalone offering, will perform and manage this function in a centralized environment at our Service Center in Edison, NJ.
ComSci will acquire and translate all forms of electronic media offered in the industry today. Whether EDI, CDs, Tape, Internet Files, etc., ComSci's proprietary software application will automatically capture the source data, translate it into a usable format, normalize it and provide the results to our clients as either an interface to your internal applications for further processing and validation or to ComSci's IPS product.
Inventory Reconciliation
One of the biggest challenges for clients is their ability to effectively manage the numerous changes that occur to telecommunications networks on a daily basis. As we all know, processing telecommunications invoices is relatively straightforward if we lived in a static, never-changing environment.
Of course, that's not reality - services are added, changed and deleted on a daily basis. How do we keep up with these changes?
As part of our total IPS solution or as a stand-alone offering to our clients, ComSci can provide a monthly reconciliation of all billed items on your invoices. Utilizing the power of our proprietary Data Translations Services, ComSci will automatically capture the source data, translate it into a usable format, normalize it and reconcile it against client provided inventory or the previous month's validated invoices providing exception reporting that ComSci can provide to the client or resolve on behalf of our client.
Contract Compliance and Dynamic Bill Validation
Another major challenge for our clients is their ability to effectively validate the rates they are paying on services. As we all know, one of the great mysteries in the world of telecommunications is that the rates on carrier and local provider invoices will change for no apparent reason.
