ComSci Announces New Ownership Structure

Providers of Customer-focused Technology Expense Management Service Download this press release in PDF format

Edison, NJ, September 12, 2006 - Communication Sciences, the premier service provider of technology-related expense management solutions announces new ownership for the firm.

Robert J. Svec, ComSci's President and CEO, has spent over 25 years in the Technology Expense Management (TEM) marketplace. Svec brings both a customer and service provider perspective to the firm. For the first 14 years of his career, he was a senior IT Financial executive for two large financial services institutions and for the last 11 years of his career, Svec led the former TSL to one of the most respected TEM firms in the industry. Over the past two years, Svec has noticed a significant shift in the TEM industry, "the marketplace has become too focused on becoming 'big' through acquiring small firms which has resulted in a marketplace of firms that are more concerned about internal integration issues than it is on the client." The marketplace consolidation activities over the last two years have resulted in firms that have lost focus on customer service. ComSci's strategy will be different than the rest, "our goal is not to simply be "big" through acquiring small firms -our primary focus will be our responsiveness to our customers and we will continue to provide solutions that are tailored to meet and exceed our customers' expectations."

ComSci has been providing chargeback, call accounting, audit, consulting, inventory management, invoice processing and web-based technology expense management software and services to large F1000 clients since 1971. ComSci's longevity and experience in the industry positions them very well to return the industry back to a customer-centric market. As Svec noted, "there is a reason almost 75% of all market consolidations and roll-ups fail – you can not spend the majority of your efforts integrating internal operations and systems while forcing mediocre service onto your customer and expect to succeed. The New ComSci will always be focused on our customer as our customers should not only expect world-class service from us, they deserve it!"
