Robert J. Svec
President and CEORobert "Bob" Svec brings more than 25 years of technology financial management experience to his role as president and CEO of Iselin, N.J.-based ComSci. Previously president of TSL, the leading provider of Telecom Expense Management solutions, Svec acquired ComSci in 2005 with another member of the leadership team, Dr. Alan Maltz.
Svec is uniquely positioned to lead ComSci's continued success. He spent 15 years as vice president and Chief Finance Officer in the IT division of Manufacturers Hanover and Chemical Bank. There, he was responsible for all technology financial functions including budget performance, product costing and pricing, service catalog and service level agreements, chargebacks, capital planning and vendor relations. As a result of his significant experience, he has been acknowledged as a leader in IT Cost Transparency.
Svec is a member of the IT Financial Management Association (ITFMA) and holds a B.S. in Business Administration – Accounting from Susquehanna University.
Alan C. Maltz
Ph.D., PartnerDr. Maltz contributes his 30+ years of technology and entrepreneurial experience to guiding ComSci's success. Previously, Maltz was the founder of TSL, considered by the industry to be the first telecommunications expense management firm. Prior to TSL, he held key roles at New York Telephone and Western Union and was the vice president, Telecommunications Systems for Bankers Trust. He has also served as the executive vice president and a director of Brite Voice Systems (NASDAQ: BVSI) and as a director of Callwave (NASDAQ: CALL).
A senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Maltz holds a doctorate in technology management from Stevens Institute of Technology, where he is a visiting assistant professor. He has an MBA in management science from Pace University and a B.E. in electrical engineering from CUNY.
Louis M. Takacs
Vice President, Product DevelopmentWith more than 16 years of software architecture and management experience, Louis Takacs is responsible for setting the strategic direction of ComSci's products and services. Prior to joining ComSci, he was the vice president of Development at one of the world's largest Telecom Expense Management companies where he worked on the overall development and design of its enterprise software.
Most recently, Takacs played a pivotal role in re-architecting ComSci's software into enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to expand its market opportunities and address demand from the company's growing client base.
Robert J. Bracco
Vice President, Client ServicesRobert "Bob" Bracco is responsible for ComSci's client-facing organization, including onboarding new clients, driving customer satisfaction, providing sales support and cultivating strategic alliances. Under his tutelage, ComSci strives to ensure client success through the highest levels of service delivery.
Bracco joined the company in August 2005, bringing more than 10 years of experience in customer relationship management, systems and process improvements. Prior to ComSci, he was AVP of Client Services at TSL, where he managed all aspects of client support and growth, implementation and business development. He has also previously worked as account executive supporting Fortune 500 accounts
He is certified in leadership development and management by Rutgers University, and studied computer science and business management at SUNY.
Brian McCabe
Vice President, SalesBrian is an accomplished sales executive with over 10 years of experience building and leading high performance sales teams in the enterprise software industry. Brian brings a diverse technology and financial background to ComSci. Prior to joining ComSci, Brian has held positions in financial services companies AIG and CitiGroup and technology companies such as Information Builders and SAP.
Brian graduated from the University of Syracuse with a MS in Finance and has done additional course work in corporate planning and capital markets at the NY Institute of Finance.
Brian Stedman
Vice President, Product ManagementBrian Stedman is responsible for product management and product strategy at ComSci. Prior to Joining ComSci in 2010, Brian was accountable for the day to day delivery of IT products and services at JP Morgan Chase to achieve their strategic, tactical, and operational goals. He was also VP and IT Business Delivery Manager for Retail Credit Card Group; worked on several Bank Merger Project Office Committees; Managed Carrier Services & Wireless Departments; Telecom Billing and Business Development, evaluating all strategic infrastructure projects providing financial justifications and analysis.
Brian has an MBA in Computer Information Systems from Pace University and a BA in Mathematics from New Your University. He is Six Sigma certified and is a regular speaker at IT conferences, Cornell University and AMA.
Jeff Yoder
Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Global Marketing StrategiesJeff brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience to ComSci. His responsibilities include establishing relationships with strategic global partners and developing ComSci's 'go to market' strategies. Jeff will also oversee the development of ComSci's corporate presence for its IT Finance Management services in the Western U.S. including building the support team responsible for clients in this region.
Jeff is an accomplished entrepreneur and sales/marketing executive with strong interpersonal selling and management skills. Prior to joining ComSci, Jeff has been involved in sales & marketing with both Fortune 500 companies (Nortel) and venture-backed technology companies (Acuson, MFS, CoreTek/ThinkingVOICE) primarily based in Silicon Valley working with VC firms Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers, Morgan Stanley, and angel investor Mark Cuban among others.
Jeff holds degrees from the University of North Carolina along with graduate work at Wake Forest University's Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Medical Imaging Technology.
